Delicate Lacey, with her beautiful long legs and soft curves. Another favourite of mine. And, another example of allowing your creativity to expand beyond your intentions.
I hadn't planned for the lace stencils. But without it the piece was lacking the elegant
vintage charm that I was looking for.
I applied the stencils in a slapdash manner. I wasn't interested in crisp, clean lines.
But rather, an authentic look of a well loved and used heirloom
with its frayed edges and texture.
Perfectly imperfect.
Hand painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Coco with Old Ochre accents.
Sealed with soft wax for protection.
